As the first station of the Macau Light Rail connected to the Macau Peninsula, and one of only two large transfer stations, MAO has attempted to introduce a new signage system. This system uses large and clear signs to swiftly and efficiently guide users to their desired destinations. This signage system has been continued in subsequent station signage designs.
