The Commercial zone of the East City Shopping Mall enlivens the customer shopping experience through a blend of practical design elements and boldly modern artistic flourishes. Storefronts feature white marble walls and are framed in black steel, stately oak, and transparent glass. Movable partitions are used to flexibly secure space in public areas for special events. Even the escalators and stairways are infused with dramatic aesthetic flair, embodied in the mall’s impressive LED light installations, full-height waterfall and vertical green walls, and geometric-patterned glass and bronze ceiling panels.
